Being a hermit pays off…
So let’s start with mentioning how amazing of a week this is… Today is the last day of November and thats incredibly exciting because I’ve been waiting for December to get here since JUNE! but why does being a hermit pay off? Well, I will tell you why.. :) I went to my math class on Monday and spoke with the teacher about missing class this coming Monday because my boyfriend is finally coming home. :) His response? “Not a problem, actually… After you take the quiz on Wednesday, you’re excused for the remainder of the semester… You have an A in my class” that was exciting not only because being excused from his class is really amazing but also because it means that I actually pulled myself together for my least favorite subject. Then comes my photography teacher and I had to tell him as well that I would be missing class Monday ” oh not a problem.. You have an A in my class anyway” I mean, yeah photography is a gimme class but it’s still excting…. So then I go to my English teacher today who just assigned an oral presentation…. Due Monday. That freaked me out a little. So I mention missing class Monday to her and she looks over my grades and says it’s fine… I can do my oral presentation later and I don’t have anything to worry about.
So now for the icing on the cake… What makes this week even better? Well! Friday I get to go to the King City Christmas Parade with miss Constance and baby Shawn and Saturday I will be in Fresno with my best friend, Sarah and my “other brother” Stephen walking Christmas tree lane and having a good ol time….and the cherry on top that I’ve been waiting for since June and am so so so extremely overwhelmingly excited about??? Sunday at the buttcrack of dawn I’m getting up and driving to Twentynine Palms (which i’ve actually missed!) and my Handsome boyfriend is finally coming hoooome.:)
Now tell me thats not a good week!
But the very nest part of it is being back in his arms and being able to tell him I love him in person again rather than over email, telephone, or Skype. :)

Thankful
It may not be Thanksgiving in California yet, but it is in Japan and that’s where my love is… I went on a drive today to deliver flowers for my Aunt (The Garden House) and it required me to go out to Arroyo Seco and Carmel Valley Rd. It may not be where I live, but it’s darn close and if you’re needing to just get out and go for a drive, I highly recommend you take a cruise out there… The vineyards are the prettiest colors along with all the trees that line the river and it’s just nice to take it all in. I’m thankful that I grew up in a small town that is surrounded with sooo much natural beauty rather than concrete. I’m thankful for my amazing family that supports me in everything I do and is always there for me. I’m thankful for my amazing boyfriend that is such a blessing in my life and brightens all my days. Never has anyone been able to put such an enormous smile on my face on a daily basis…and he’s been doing it from the other side of the world for the past six months. I’m thankful for all of my amazing friends, some that have been like sisters since we were in diapers… You know who you are! I’m thankful for this wonderful life that God has blessed me with and all of the amazing adventures that come along with it. Thank you all for being a part of my amazing adventure, you are all truly blessings in my life. and last, but most definitely not least, I am thankful that my time away from Blake is almost OVER!!! :) Cant wait to be back in his arms!
I hope everyone enjoys their Thanksgiving filled with family friends and great conversation… I know I will. :) can’t wait to see everyone.

Dear King City,
Tomorrow I will be leaving you for 4 days…and as I drive away, I will have a giant smile on my face, doing the happy dance in the seat of my car listening to whatever mix I decide to make for the Bride-To-Be and myself to listen to on our 5 hour endeavor south.

Move on over Summertime…
It’s time for fall leaves, boots, peacoats, hotcocoa by the fire, big fluffy blankets, and holidays with my amazing family AND it also means that we’re that much closer to my love coming home. :)
