Wedding Dreamin’
I’m pretty sure that I was planning our wedding in my sleep last night. I woke up multiple times and each time I went back to sleep, I would have another wedding dream. I’m sure that it was caused from me looking at wedding blogs before bed… But my dreams gave me some pretty good ideas! Today will definitely be a wedding planning day. And I’m thinking my Pinterest wedding board is going to need to be nipped in the butt for a while. Don’t need to be showing people my wedding ideas! I had been worried about not having all my ducks in a row with wedding plans yet, but now that I know my Love will be deploying, I am glad I will have that to keep me busy while he is away. It will help to pass the time and when he gets back, I get to say ‘I do’ to my best friend! I. Can’t. Wait. !!!

Things I want to do….
The creative part of me has been itching to get out and be expressed in so many ways lately. I look around our house and have DIY and crafty ideas bursting out of my brain. First of all, my fiancé bought me a Cannon rebel T3 for my birthday. He knows that photography has always been an itch that I have been wanting to scratch but just haven’t had the resources to get further into it than doing the best I can with my iPhone. So, I will definitely be experimenting (a lot) with my new beauty and trying to learn every little detail about my trick so that maybe… Some day… I can photograph your wedding, your new Ron child, or just your face and everything lovely in the world.
Beyond the photography bit is my other creative cravings…. Which definitely are a range of things. I want, so badly, to have a pop-up dinner party. I’ve been experimenting with my cooking skills and I think that, so far, Blake would say he approves of most of what I cook.. And I can only get better, right? Well, in case you don’t know,a pop-up dinner party is where you set up a fancy dinner somewhere that you’re not really supposed to or that is our of the ordinary. My thought is in Joshua Tree National Park… It’s absolutely gorgeous at sunset.
Another thing I really want to do, which would have to be done when I’m in King City because, lets face it, I haven’t made a ton of friends here just yet… Is having a pie party. Where we can all eat together, drink some wine, chat about the latest and greatest that I’ve been missing out in in King City, and are lots of amazingly delicious pies… And devour them before our sig. others have a chance to (just kidding)
Then there is one more bigger things would like to do… After getting my creative juices flowing, and trying a few DIY experiments and recipes I haven’t tried before… I would really like to start my own blog. I know, this is a blog… But I mean a legitimate, well out together, actually has followers… Blog. There’s this class that I have been eye balling but I don’t want to spend money on it until I know that I have some tricks up my sleeve to put on the log once I have it.
So yeah… Those are my if things.. Alongside those are just a million mini craft projects for around the house and whatnot…oh and I would like to throw someone a party just so I can be older creative… Blake might have to be that person… Even if its just me and him at the party. :-)
Well, if you read through this, this. And I would love your input about my ideas!!!

One World Trade Center
A reflective 104-story skyscraper known as One World Trade Center is rising amid New York City’s skyline where the iconic Twin Towers of the World Trace Center once stood.
The building—which became New York’s tallest in April—sits adjacent to the site of the towers that were destroyed in a terrorist attack 11 years ago today, on September 11, 2001. The exact footprints of the Twin Towers have been memorialized by two reflecting pools with cascading waterfalls, and walls inscribed with the names of those who were lost in the attacks.
The photographs featured above were taken by members of the crew building the new World Trade Center, which is expected to be completed in late 2013.

Fair point well made if I do say so myself. Sometimes I wonder why the system hasn’t already implemented this idea? Do they want us to forever be spending our tax dollars on people who are too lazy to get up and find themselves a job?THIS.

That’s exactly how I think of it. Need some travel in my life with my love by my side! I can’t wait for our adventures together.

Guaranteed…
Every year when I get home from the Paso fair, for some reason, it is guaranteed that I will be pulled over within one block from home…. Seriously. And it has been for the same reason… Every time. I don’t know what the deal is but my license plate light goes out…. Every. Year. And they pull me over hoping to catch a drunk driver…. Only to catch a sober driver. As in, a designated driver. And each year they apologize for pulling me over and thank me for being a sober driver and let me go on a merry little way. Yep. Happened tonight. It is kind of funny but really weird at the same time. Glad to be home and in bed. It was a log but entertaining and fun day. Goodnight all.

Wanderlust on the mind…
So it has been two years since I did my last cross-country road trip and ever since then, I have been right here in good ol California. (Other than a few Vegas and Tahoe trips)
Lately all these emails I’ve been getting and posts I see on pinterest and tumblr have got me craving an adventure. What I would really like to do is get up and go somewhere cool with my honey, kind of far away from California. But that currently isn’t in the cards, and I’m okay with that. So I decided I would fulfill my wanderlust right here at home. Starting Memorial Day Weekend.
I had bought tickets for my parents to go ziplining in Santa Cruz as a gift for my mom for Mothers Day… Then I thought “why would I send them and not go myself???” So, I bought two more tickets for Blake and I. I am SO excited for this little adventure and just can’t wait for the adrenaline rush it brings.
If you’re experiencing the same wanderlust, I thought I would suggest a few things around here you can do. Here in King City, rumor has it, you can enjoy your night by going Cow Tipping…that would be fun, right??
Just joking.
In seriousness though.
Paso has so many wineries and little wine rooms that are always fun to visit with a group of friends
Cayucos is a nice get away that is close by and if you go there, stop by Ruddell’s Smokehouse and get yourself some fish tacos….I guarantee you will not regret it!! Best fish tacos EVER!
My favorite day trip, which could also be a weekend trip is taking Nacimiento-Fergusson road out of Fort Hunter Liggett over to Big Sur (That drive is gorgeous!!! Do pull over on the side of the road for photo-ops…multiple times!!) And then head north. There are multiple places you can stop and Bixby bridge is there as well (its famous)
And north bound adventures always take us to Carmel for a few glasses of wine at Caraccioli cellars followed by watching the sunset on Carmel beach….everyone applauds when the sun goes down…I love it
Oh and I can’t forget about the Pinnacles. That’s always a quick get away to a beautiful place and some awesome hiking. :),
Or you can do like I do most often and get in your car and drive to the bottom of California, where your fiance lives in the desert. Okay your fiance probably doesn’t live where mine does but I’ve grown to really love 29 Palms. And to love the second half of the drive as well.
Just a little rambling from little ol me. Hope you enjoyed!,
